The Birth of TURawstyle
TURawstyle is the result of years of work & Development (over 15 Years) and sleepless nights. It is planned as a new Sub-Genre Of Hardstyle with the potential to be recognized as a main genre in the future. This genre combines Hard Distorted kicks and industrial sounds of Hardstyle & Hardtechno together with the melodies of Turkish instruments. I often use Saz (Bağlama), Ney, Zurna, Darbuka, Davul,Kanun, but also Çümbüş and Cura. Depending on the track, other typical instruments of Turkish folk music are added.
I also write lyrics about life, love, and society. My songs are also about power, abuse of power, Real Truths about lies and Fakes in our Real-lifes. I think it is important to address these topics honestly and directly, because Music can make people think and connect them, and thats a important Point in TURawstyle will always stays for Real Truths, Originality and Unique, this means That TURawstyle is borned and Created from Zero, No any Samples, covers are used from any Other Artists or of 3ths.
Kanun, Saz (Bağlama), Ney, and Zurna give my music a classical and traditional character. Davul and Darbuka bring deep rhythms and real energy, the other Turkish instruments are also have their big influences on the Sound.
By combining these instruments with Rawstyle and Hardstyle, a sound is created that is new and yet deeply rooted in Turkish tradition. Every TURawstyle track is a new creation. My goal is to give hope for those which wanted that the Turkish culture and their Instruments are being also accepted on Hardstyle and Rawstyle scenes, in same time im want show Western Scenes that its more possible to Evolve the Music, a Fresh Idea, and hopefully their Amazing Festivals will be also widened into the East, im Try also make people think, and try connect fans of both scenes and cultures.
TURawstyle – The Concept
I know that TURawstyle will feel unusual to many people. Many will compare it directly to standardized Western Hardstyle and Rawstyle. But I can only say: “No, that would be the wrong way to look at it.” TURawstyle is much more than that. It is not just pure Rawstyle or Hardstyle.
TURawstyle is designed to be experienced in many different ways. At the moment you think you are listening to Rawstyle or Hardstyle, the sound can suddenly change. Let me give you 3 Examples:
In some cases, the music might even sound like a typical Western Hardstyle or Rawstyle track, without any Anatolian elements. Instead, the vocals are performed in Turkish, use Turkish vocal techniques (even wordless songs, but with Turkish vocal techniques), or feature a fusion of Turkish and English vocals with a bit touch of Turkish Vocal Techniques—another characteristic that highlights TURawstyle’s versatility.
You might hear Rawstyle kicks and bass, but then the track can quickly switch to Hardstyle – or the other way around, all within the same song.
Sometimes, you hear Hardstyle kicks and bass, but then the influence of Anatolian Darbuka or Davul kicks appears, which can make the music return to Rawstyle or vice versa while it is still playing. However, you will notice the differences between standard Hardstyle/Rawstyle and TURawstyle, becouse there is a also a Newly Designed Sound Styles (Kicks,bass, Synth, melodys,Frequencies,HZ and more) from me, that makes possible that Eastern Music Scales can Fusion into Western Music Scales.
TURawstyle is like an endless adventure. Every listener experiences their own journey. The music invites you to discover new paths, be surprised, and find your own sound. There are no fixed rules – every track can take you to a different place. That is what makes TURawstyle so unique and exciting.
All elements of Rawstyle and Hardstyle, including Turkish Anatolian sounds, are fused together equally. The Anatolian instruments can lead the melody, but they can also be integrated into the synths. You can hear this in many of my TURawstyle tracks. That is TURawstyle.
It is a new and fresh direction. It is a New Subgenre, an innovative idea, and the result of hard and challenging work.

As DJ Kandazar, I stand for authenticity and innovation. I use music to open minds and build bridges between cultures. As an independent artist, I break new ground and invite listeners to become part of a new musical movement.
